What is the maintenance plan after my SEO plan of 6 months is completed?

Once your website has reached top rankings for a specific keyword after the initial 6 month term your rankings will slip slowly month to month. It could be 1-2 positions in the first couple of months and then slowly lose 1-2 positions per month until your on pages 2, 3 and more of the search engine results.

It's strongly recommended you do a maintenance SEO plan after your initial 6 month period for as long as you want high rankings. Pricing for maintenance is on the SEO Packages page.

Does Google changing their algorithms affect my rankings?

Absolutely. 2011 were a lot of SEO changes from Google with their release of Panda and subseqent changes. It causes the rankings to change slightly but, in some cases it was radical. This is the nature of SEO and it's a moving target and the reason for keeping up on a maintenance plan.

In the initial 6 month term it also can have adverse affects on our SEO strategies and may cause an extension of an initial 6 month term.

Can you guarantee results in 6 months?

We endeavor to predict the future as best as we can but, SEO is a multi-variant equation where every variable is a moving target. In some cases it can take 6 to 12 months to get top rankings if your in a competitive market. When we give you the list of keywords to pick we will point out that some keywords can't be ranked high in 6 months and you will have to decide what you want. In most cases desirable keywords can be ranked within 6 months.

It's not uncommon that we start with 3 keywords and start getting those highly ranked in 3-5 months and then our customers ask us to do 3 more keywords and then 3 more keywords after that. So, over a period of 2 years you may have high rankings for 10-15 keywords.

What if my market niche is highly competitive?

If you tell us you want the best keyword in your niche we may tell you it will take 18 to 24 months because it's a heavily impacted keyword with high authoritative sites we have to beat. There are some industries we won't even touch like "web hosting". It probably would take 3-5 years to even reach page 1 of that market. If you pick "web hosting Tuscon" we would take that project since competition is less in Tuscon for web hosting.

How many keywords can I rank high for?

Unlimited. You can have as many keywords as you want but, it just takes money and time. We will caution you if you are too aggressive. If you go all out on an SEO initiative it can cause what they call a "google dance" and your website will jump from page 1 to page 20 in 1 day.

In the most severe situations google will "sandbox" your website and put it on page 100, the last page of google results. It will eventually get out of the "sandbox" but, may take a few months or more.

Google likes to see organic SEO growth so, if you try too many keywords at one time it could look unnatural.

When should I start seeing results?

You should see movements in your website or web pages within the first 30days. If your website was poorly SEO optimized you could see results in a matter of days, on the other hand if your website was SEO mastered then off-site SEO will have to move you up the rankings and that takes time.

What if I don't reach high rankings after 6 months?

We then keep going month to month until we can achieve the desired results. If the domain name is less than 1 year old then it will take longer then 6 months for a competitive keyword. The age of the domain name has an important valuation of the ranking of your website.

How do I check the status of my SEO rankings?

We will provide you monthly reports on your progress but, by month 3 and 4 you should be seeing the results first hand by typing in your keyword in google and see the position of your website.

How to check the number of inbound links to my website?
